Fwd: publisher's booth

Dear all,
Mary Niebuhr is the Advertising/Exhibits Manager for the 2005 LSA
meeting
in San Francisco next January. She's been helping me figure out the
costs, etc.
for the publisher's booth that we decided we wanted. But once she
understood
what we wanted to do with our booth, she came up with what I believe is
a much
better idea for us: a reserved conference room in which we can schedule
"office
hours" for our various member projects.

Her letter follows; please read it and see what you think. The
financing would be
much easier to organize, I think. We would need to schedule everyone
well in
advance, so we could get our program into the Meeting Handbook.

Let's talk about this at dinner Saturday the 17th in Detroit, shall we?

See y'all,
Heidi
