[Response to Palancar's note on Otomi]

Thanks for your information close to mazahuas from San Ildefonso, Ixtlahuaca:  
the moon: "nu dzanä" 
the sun: "nu jiarü". My informants do not anymore recognize tones or at least I have not been able to hear them.  
I will be looking forward for metaphorical ways to refere to stars....
