Sennheiser headphones

Dear David and Felicity,

 

Thanks very much for your helpful comments, which put me right off the
Sennheiser noise cancelling headphones.

 

I want to stay in the $100 - 200 price range, and I do value comfort when
using headphones for several hours at a time.

 

So, I'll have a look again at Sony and certain other Sennheiser headphones.
But as a now hard-of-hearing old fart, the sound reproduction at the higher
end of the market is lost on my old ears.
