*Announcement: **Linguistics in the Pub in London (LIPIL)* *Tuesday** 2nd
of May 2017 – Documenting language in the home*

Many subfields of linguistics focus on language use in context - and one of
the most fundamental contexts is the family. This discussion will focus on
linguistic research that centres on the family sphere. We will focus on the
sociolinguistic implications for studying language across generations,
including language maintenance and bi/multilingual language practices, drawing
on both 'traditional' and 'urban' fieldwork scenarios.

summary of their discussion is on the Paradisec website.
