[RNLD] List or review of language apps

Hi all
John’s point about apps are for learning are used is important point. I’ve come across some reviews that address this. I am researching apps for a language maintenance setting and my goal is to advise the group on the sort of learning that might be supported by e-resources, aligned to the learning needs that they have identified. These are in school learning (literacy in particular, but cultural knowledge also), and youth and adult learning, also with a focus on developing literate practice. So far my observation is that many of the resources out there are designed for vocabulary learning in language revitalisation settings.
I will compile a list, with some annotation.

However, I agree that building in evaluation to any resource development project or roll-out would be useful to the specific setting and more broadly to others. I will be recommended this to the group I am working with.

Has anyone compiled a list or review of language apps in use for Australian languages?
All responses appreciated and will be passed on to a Central Australian group keen to get an overview of what’s out there and effective for languages teaching and learning – for ages 3-adult.
