[RNLD] Positions at MDWg for 2017/18

Dear RNLD list members,

 

here is a brief update on available positions at Mirima Language Centre.

 

MDWg runs a vibrant language revitalisation program for the Miriwoong
language in the East Kimberley region (Western Australia/NT) and can provide
a hands-on experience for linguistics students and graduates interested in
language revitalisation and documentation. Currently, applications for the
following positions are open:

 

*         Standard Internship: 10 weeks, beginning in October 2017 

*         Special Internship: 12 months, beginning any time during the
second half of 2017

*         Project Linguist position (part-time): beginning immediately, to
30 June 2018

*         Language Nest Facilitator position (full-time): beginning in
September 2017

opportunities. Our team is looking forward for expressions of interest.
