Evaluations of Mahidol's "Budsir"?

Is anyone here working with Mahidol's "Budsir" disc?

I was wondering if it was significantly better, e.g. at rendering non-Latin
scripts, than the VRI's free disc (with similar advertised functions).  As a
Mac user, I would also wonder as to how easily it might be converted between
formats.
