Textbook for Reading Russian

At the University of Kansas, we reguarly teach a course called "Russian
for Reading" which is supposed to give graduate students an overview of
the Russian grammatical system and some basice vocabulary so that they
can start reading articles in their major fields with (intensive) dic-
tionary work.  Leaving aside the wisdom of learning a langauge in such
a fashion, can anyone recommend a text for such a course.  I am aware
of Arant's Russian for Reading, and was looking to see if there weren't
some other titles available.  You can either respond to the list or to me
directly.
