Dear SEELANGS subscribers,

I am submitting this query on behalf of a student who is interested
in information regarding any and all possibilities open to Polish
university-level students who wish to study in the US. I gave him the
information and addresses that I have at my disposal, but he would like
to get as thorough an idea as possible as to what options are available.

He is interested in all types of possible arrangements: bilateral direct
exchange programs between a university here and and a partner in Poland,
unilateral programs that bring Poles here to study at a specific
institution, independent or university-connected scholarships available to
Poles who wish to study here at any US university or at a specific
institution, or simply schools that have some type of official ties to
partner schools in Poland that would be able to smooth the way for a
prospective student to come here from Poland.

Any information that you wish to share with him in this regard is
welcome. If you do not have information, but you do have addresses that
you would like to share, this will also be warmly received. Please
respond directly to me at:

          mrldorf at kuhub.cc.ukans.edu or m-lauersdorf at ukans.edu

If there is a strong response, or general interest from the group, I
will try to post a summary of the responses that I receive after a week
or two.

Thanks in advance for your help with this search.

                                               Mark Lauersdorf
