Subject: Advice on Ph.D. Programs - Russian Lang/Lit?

I recently returned from Moscow and am interested in applying to Ph.D.
programs in Russian Language or Literature with the ultimate goal of teaching
Russian at the high school or college level.  Is there anyone out there who
can give me some advice or recommendations about schools, requirements, etc.?

I have lots of questions, but I don't want to bother everyone with them.  If
