Elena Levintova wrote (asking about translations of American literature
into Russian):

Of course! I own the following volume, dating from the period when I
decided that it would be neat to read Am. lit in Russian translation.
(Chudachestvo.) I actually read some of my 12-volume set of Jack , excuse
