The Southern California branch of AATSEEL invites all teachers
of Slavic and East European languages to participate in our
annual conference, to be held Saturday, May 3 at UCLA.
The conference will consist of three roundtables on the
following topics:
1) Teaching East and Central European culture and area studies;
integrating language and culture studies.
2) New textbooks; supplementary video and computer materials
3) Curriculum:  possible modifications to reflect changes
in the interests and needs of potential students
For each roundtable the panelists will present 10 minute
talks before opening up the floor for discussion.
