Emacs, a very standard editor in unix, is exactly what you will be comfortably using in future. If you insist on using a Microsoft product, you will need to find so many fonts and keyboard drivers... sigh. Incidentally, I haven't heard of a keyboard driver for ISO 8859-5 in MS Windows.
