The 12th BIENNIAL CONFERENCE ON BALKAN AND SOUTH SLAVIC
LINGUISTICS, LITERATURE, and FOLKLORE

will be held at the University of Kansas, Lawrence, Thurs.-Sat., May
4-6, 2000.

Abstracts should be sent in text format on a diskette or
through e-mail.  Graphs, diagrams and illustrations should be
converted to GIF or JPG format.  Abstracts will be placed on a
Conference web-site, the URL address of which will be announced
later. Deadline for abstracts: November 1, 1999.
