Dear Seelangers--

I encountered the following text in Emmerich Kalman's operetta The
Duchess of Chicago:

"Isten velet, isten velet, draga violam.
Sir a szivem, sir a lelkem, draga violam."

Although the rest of the operetta was written in German, this one
snippet appears in a climactic scene. Though I do not know Hungarian,
I'm assuming from the speaker of the lines that it is Hungarian. Can any
one corroborate this for me and tell me what it means?

Thank you in advance.
