How would I find out the Russian/Ukrainian-Jewish meaning
 of a word like "stotshkes"?  For "stotchki" I come up with "sediment,
 remnants," but in Yiddish some scholars suggest it means a kind of candle.
 Is there any dictionary of 19th-century Jewish/Yiddish usages?
