To the attention of specialists in Russian Film:

Applications are invited for a full-time Lectureship in European
Cinema with effect from 1 October 1999. Participation in language
teaching will be a firm requirement of the post and the successful
candidate will have a first degree and a completed PhD (ideally
related to the cinema of a European nation or to a pan-European
topic); native or near-native-speaker competence in one of the
languages of the School (Russian is one of the languages of the
School) and the ability to teach in culturally-based courses, not
necessarily related to film, will be an advantage. Post available for
