Tenure-Track, Assistant Professor of Slavic Studies

Appointment beginning August 2000. Areas of specialization: Russian
language and culture, with a secondary interest and proficiency in a
second Slavic language, preferably Serbo-Croatian. Near native fluency
required. Ph.D. preferred, A.B.D. considered. Interest in developing an
interdisciplinary program in Slavic area studies desirable. Salary
competitive. Preliminary interviews will be conducted at both AAASS and
