etymology of Belarus

I thank all of you who have kindly shared your knowledge and ideas on possible
etymologies of Belarus.  I am an anthropologist and personally like those
suggestions pertaining to colors and their possible symbolic relations with the
cardinal directions.  Will try to explore this idea further.
