AATSEEL & ACTR receptions

Dear SEELANGS colleagues:

If you're planning to attend AATSEEL in Washington, please be advised that
the AATSEEL President's Reception and Awards Ceremony, traditionally held
on the 29th, has been moved to the evening of the 28th in order to
accommodate the ACTR reception on the 29th.  

The latest AATSEEL Newsletter has the dates reversed because at the time
that publication went to press 'twas indeed the plan to have the ACTR
reception on the 28th.  However, a change became necessary quite late in
the game due to a conflict involving one of the key ACTR guests.

So, to reiterate, the schedule is....

        AATSEEL President's Reception and Awards Ceremony:  28 December,
2000, 9-11 p.m., in the Presidential Ballroom of the Capital Hilton.

        ACTR Reception:  29 December, 2000, 7-11 p.m., in the same
location.

Both AATSEEL and ACTR regret the confusion, but are glad we were able to
make the accommodation.
