copyright issues for contemporary poets

[Ona Renner-Fahey]

Does anyone know whether there are copyright issues for translating poems by
contemporary poets? (The particular poets I have in mind are Evgenii Rein
and Aleksandr Kushner.)  Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
