Non Fiction in Russian

Having read the recent postings on the difficulties of translating
"non-fiction" into Russian, I was interested to see the following article
from the 7 December 1999 issue (pg 79) of "Itogi:"  "Pervaia iarmarka
intellektual'noi literatury non fiction." ("Non fiction" printed in Latin
letters.)
