I am currently a junior at Wellesley College majoring in Art History and
French, and am interested in going to graduate school for Art History.
During my studies here, I have developed an interest in Russian literature
-- I have taken all of two courses in 19th c. literature, but still, it's
growing on me. It is probably my background as a ballet dancer (between
high school and college) that has led me to become interested in the
intersection of French and Russian culture.

In my search for graduate schools, I am having trouble finding scholars
who specialize in Russian art. I would prefer 19th century, but 20th
century would be all right, too. If you have any suggestions, I would be
very grateful if you would pass them along.

Sincerely,
Margaret Samu
