A certain level of Unicode support is built into Mac OS 9, but has
not been exploited very much by program manufacturers. Microsoft with
its Office 98 and Office 2001 is a major exception in the field of
word processing, others are mainly in the field of web authoring:
BBEdit 6.0, Netscape Composer 6, Style, and some Japan-made text
editors.
