conversion of Cyrillic

Dear SEELANGers,

        I am in the process of transferring my files from Word Perfect,
version 7 to MSWord, and am having trouble converting Cyrillic text.  What I
get instead in Word is blank spaces interrupted with an occasional
punctuation mark.  Can anyone help me?  Thank you very, very much ahead of
time.
