History of Slavonic languages

The problem is not with the subject per se but with the authors. In my first
philology course "Introduction to Slavic Philology" our main study book was
Schenker's "The Dawn of Slavic". There you'll find very interesting facts
presented in a very dry and boring fashion. I would be dead bored if not for
the professor who was a great lecturer. There was only one bad thing about
him. He was Bulgarian, so he continuously made fun about Macedonian language
and culture :(.

Regards,
U.K.
