Encyclopedia of Erotic Literature
Edited by Gaƫtan Brulotte and John Phillips

Call for Contributors
This large-scale reference work, scheduled for publication in summer
2003, will contain 650-700 entries. There will be survey articles
covering the history of erotic literature in different countries and/or
languages, entries on individual writers (not all of them necessarily
known as specialist writers of erotic literature), significant works,
genres and critical approaches, and general themes pertinent to erotic
literature (nudity, homoeroticism etc.).

The book aims to be international in scope and to reflect current
research in the field. It will thus be an up-to-date work of reference
for all those involved in teaching or researching the literature and its
history, as well as the serious general reader.

Each entry will consist of an analytical essay (average length 1,000
words), a bibliography and/or further reading list, and, in the case of
individual writers, a separate concise paragraph of biographical
information.

If you would like to volunteer to contribute to this encyclopedia
please refer to the project's website
http://www.fitzroydearborn.com/london/eros/intro.htm where you will
find a complete list of entries, sample essays and details of how to
contribute. Or you can contact the editors at:
