QUERY: Russian women married to British servicemen WW2

I am desperately trying to track down any leads at all in respect of the
Russian women who married British servicemen in the course of WW2. There
is one documentary produced by Catherine Bailey in 1993, and that seems to
be it. For most of them it all ended rather badly - ie Gulags. One was
allowed to join her husband (an ex British embassy official stationed in
Moscow 42-44)  circa 1951.

Can you help?

I would be grateful for the faintest whiff of a lead.
