Margarita et al,
Yes, Warren Beatty does try some bad Russian in "Reds"--so does Diane K.,
especially at the end when he's dieing of typhoid. And there's another
actor who is a native speaker who travels with them on the train from Europe
to revolutionary Petrograd.
And how about one of the worst of all the Americans-view-Russians films:
"Red Dawn" (1984), with Patrick Swayze as the heroic high school
jock-turned-guerilla leader who leads the small town folk of Colorado to
victory over the invading Soviets?
