The Program in Comparative Literature, The Graduate
Association of Comparative Literature Students (GRACLS), and the
College of Liberal Arts at The University of Texas at Austin

Present

The 1st Annual Graduate Student Conference for Comparative Literature and
Literary Studies

Dates: October 7 and 8, 2004

Place: The University of Texas at Austin

Keynote Speaker: Lilian R. Furst, Marcel Bataillon Professor of Comparative
Literature, The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill


We invite quality submissions in any area of comparative literature, literary
theory, and cultural studies.

Applicants should submit an abstract in English of no more than 500 words. If
possible, please also submit a copy of the paper. Papers in languages other
than English are welcome.
