I have a useful little paperback volume entitled "Slovar' russkikh
lichnykh imen" compiled by N.A. Petrovskij which I think offers the
information you are looking for.  Mine is the 3rd edition, published by
"Russkij jazyk" in 1984, but there is probably a more recent edition
available now.
