Help! Need to recall the author and title

[Jack Kollmann]

A good candidate would be Boris Ottokar Unbegaun, Russian Surnames, Oxford
at the Clarendon Press, 1972.  Also published in Russian translation as
Russkie familii, Moscow, Progress, 1989.  No need for embarrassment.
