Dear colleagues,

In connection with a course I'll be teaching next spring, I'm trying to compile
a list of Russian fictional works--stories or novels--in which writers figure as
characters. This could include writers of diaries or letters. So far I've come
up with a quick list (see below), although I know there must be more. I wonder
if anyone could suggest other good examples (especially of the 19th century)?
Please reply off-list.
