Just a thought: There's an expression in English that goes variously, "swear
like a trooper/sailor/stevedore...." You could, I suppose, make it "swear
like a Russian [whatever]." If you feel the phrase needs some allusion to
the sacred word "mother" I can't think of any easy equivalent.
