It seems that from the very beginning of this animated discussion 
Master and Margarita is assigned a status of a Holy Cow, whereas 
perhaps it is at best a middlebrow satire on one hand and a 
pretentious home-grown naive costume drama of the Eternal Struggle 
Between Good and Evil on the other...
