£41,133 - £46,295 per annum

Available from January 2007 or as soon as possible thereafter to 
candidates with a proven research record and outstanding potential in 
any area of Russian studies (preference may be given to specialists in 
visual culture, nineteenth-century literature, or cultural studies). 
Candidates will have a native or near-native command of the Russian 
language and will be expected to make a full contribution to the design 
and teaching of both undergraduate and postgraduate courses and to take 
a leading role in the development of the department's research environment.
