The Birch -- A Reminder

Hello,

This is a reminder that submissions for The Birch, Columbia University's
undergraduate journal of Slavic studies, are due March 17.
Any undergraduate student may submit to the journal.

Submissions can include:
-Creative writing of all kinds (in English or in Russian)
-Literary criticism (up to 5 pages double-spaced, in English or in Russian)
-Articles on cultural and political events in Russia and Eastern Europe
(also limited to 5 pages double-spaced)
-Photography

Please remind your students about the approaching deadline. More details can
be found on our website at www.thebirchonline.org.
All submissions can be sent to pss2103 at columbia.edu.
