The Department of German and Russian Languages and Literatures at the
University of Notre Dame is seeking to fill a visiting position in
Russian language and literature for academic year 2006-2007 (with a
possibility of renewal for 2007-2008). A master's degree is required
and a doctorate preferred. The successful candidate will be appointed
at the rank of visiting assistant professional specialist or visiting
assistant professor-depending on qualifications-and will teach three
courses per semester: in Fall 2006 Beginning Russian I, Advanced
Russian I, and a literature course in Russian, and in Spring 2007
Beginning Russian II, Advanced Russian II, and a literature course in
translation.
