The Moscow Literary-Historical Society "Vozvrashchenie" is pleased to announce the release of Unforced Labors, which brings together under a single cover in English translation the prison-exile prose of Ariadna Efron (daughter of Marina Tsvetaeva) and the memoirs of Ada Federolf, Efron's companion from 1949. Illustrated with new photographs documenting both women's lives and color reproductions of Ariadna Efron's sketches and watercolors, this volume contains a biographical, literary-critical introduction by translator, compiler-editor, Diane Nemec Ignashev (Carleton College), a glossary of historical figures, and a map of Efron's and Federolf's prisons and exile stations.
Unforced Labors is available from Russian Press Service and/or through Amazon.com For additional information about this volume or Vozvrashchenie's other publications, contact vozvrashchenie at bk.ru or vozvrashcheniepubs at yahoo.com
