Good short primary text(s) for reflections on the end of Soviet Union / culture?

Check out Glas: New Russian Writing. The latest is "War & Peace
Contemporary Russian Prose." Wonderful short stories.
Films I would recommend include: Window to Paris, Burnt by the Sun, Prisoner
of the Mountains, and especially for business majors, Barber of Siberia!
