AAASS 2007 panel proposals by ISRA

The International Samizdat Research Association [ISRA] is organizing panel
proposals for next year’s AAASS meeting in New Orleans on one or more of the
following subjects:

*the transfer of literature between East and West during the Cold War

*contacts between tamizdat publishers 

*non-literary forms of alternative culture in Central and Eastern Europe 

*music crossing borders during and after the Cold War

*texts negotiating between political opposition and aesthetic freedom
