mention that Julia Dobson's book on Helene Cixous contains an  
insightful discussion of Cixous's play "Black Sail, White Sail" that  
features Anna Akhmatova and Nadezhda Mandelshtam (Dobson, Julia.  
Helene Cixous and the Theatre: The Scene of Writing, Peter Lang, 2002:  
she discusses the images of Akhmatova and Mandelshtam in the play in  
the chapter "The Poet in the Play": pp.115-140).
