Dear colleagues:

In connection with a new course I will be teaching in January, 2008, I am interested in identifying  works of fiction in English translation (from Russian or Yiddish), preferably, short stories, that describe Jewish life in Vilnius at the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th century. 

I would be grateful for any suggestions and recommendations.
