We cordially invite you and your students to attend a special conference  to commemorate 200 years of US-Russian diplomatic relations and to celebrate the Year of the Russian Language.  The conference will end with a poetry reading by Yevgeny Yevtushenko.

The conference will be held on November 6 on the campus of East Central University in Ada, OK.  It is organized by CARTA and the Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Houston. Special guests include Nikolay Sofinsky,consul general of the Russian Federation in Houston, and Dan Davidson, president of the American Councils for International Education.
