Dear colleagues,

I want to recommend a recent novel by an author from my neighborhood 
-- its heroine is a beginning Russian professor, working on a 
(made-up) nineteenth-century novelist and his intriguing wife.  It 
adds some new twists to the body of novels about Russian 
professors... maybe suggests a comparative AATSEEL panel topic?
