Various kinds of Soviet committees

Politprosvet is (or should I say was?) an institution in charge of political education, which meant Soviet indoctrination.     
they were a component of the Communist party structure.     
    
     Yes, certainly (though I prefer to keep the idea of 'enlightenment' since it    
translates easily enough). But what I was unsure about was whether this is    
indeed another kind of committee or whether it should be a ‘political    
enlightenment CAMPAIGN’, or what.
