Assistant Professor of Russian Literature The Slavic Department at Yale 
University invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor of Russian 
Literature, to begin July 1, 2010.  This appointment will be made in 
accordance with Yale's new tenure track system, a description of which is 
accessible at http://www.yale.edu/gateways/fas_tenure_report.pdf.  The field 
of specialization is open but we are especially interested in candidates with 
expertise in late 18th and early 19th-century Russian literature and/or 
contemporary Russian literature and culture.  Candidates should have a Ph.D., 
fluency in Russian and English, teaching experience, and a commitment to
