Baku seems to be masculine:
	"родной баку" -- 2,370 hits
	"родное баку" -- 55 hits

Peru seems to be neuter:
	"родной перу" -- 37 hits
	"родное перу" -- 0 hits

Not so clear for Timbuktu:
	"родной Томбукту" -- 1 hit
	"родное Томбукту" -- 0 hits

Also unclear for Mali:
	"родной Мали" -- 4 hits
	"родное Мали" -- 2 hits

Hard to search for Togo and distinguish it from того the pronoun, but an
eyeball estimate seems to favor the neuter treatment.
