Yes.  This was one of the reality shows for which the Russians went to the trouble of paying for the format (cf. Za steklom).

There was also a parody of it with the (perhaps inevitable) title of 'Geroj nashego plemeni'.

It is equivalent - even the logo is basically the same. 

Only major difference was that they chose the omnipresent Ksenia Sobchak to
host - meaning that any pretence the show tried to make at being serious
fell pretty hard at least for male viewers...
