The Program in Russian and East European Languages and Literatures and Study
Abroad of Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, announce a summer
study abroad program in St. Petersburg.

The six week program, starting on June 25 and ending on August 8, 2010, will
consist of intensive 6 credit language courses (taught by the staff of The
Russian Language and Culture Institute of the Faculty of Philology and Arts
of St. Petersburg State University) and a 3 credit course, "St. Petersburg:
City of Revolutions" (co-taught in English by Rutgers faculty from
Departments of Political Science and Art History).

Undergraduate and graduate students with no knowledge of Russian are
eligible to apply, although some knowledge of Russian is preferred. All New
Jersey residents, regardless of college affiliation are eligible for
in-state tuition. Because of visa considerations, the deadline for
applications is March 1, but later applications may be considered up until
March 15.
